VER PLOEGH -- Howard Ver Ploegh, 88, a resident of Corrales, NM passed away on September 6, 2008. Mr. Ver Ploegh is survived by his son, Jim Ver Ploegh and wife, Mary (Lonnie); his daughter, Laura White Heckman and husband, Burt; his brother, Ed Ver Ploegh and wife, Carol; his sister-in-law, Verlene Ver Ploegh; his grandchildren, Francesca Ver Ploegh, Mark Ver Ploegh, Brian Ver Ploegh and girlfriend, Brandi; Lange Heckman and wife, Erin, Chad Heckman and Derek Heckman; and many other extended family members. Howard was preceded in death by his wife and soul mate, June Arlene; his brothers Russell and Raymond; and his sister in law, Helen and husband, Ike. Howard was owner and operator of Farmers Feed and supply store on North 4th, he was a teacher of Math and Sciene in the Public Schools and he had a love of sailing. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 10, 2008 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m., Pastor Rory Gillespie, presider. Urnbearers will be his grandsons, Mark and Brian. Interment of Mr. Ver Ploegh's cremains will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements by: Gabaldon Mortuary 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW 243-7861
