ZAMORA -- Lorence Manuel Zamora, age 69, of Belen, passed away Monday, September 1, 2008 in Mountainair. He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Torreon and was the son of Jose and Aurora Zamora. Lorence is survived by his children, Ray Zamora, Larry Zamora, Richard Zamora, Aurora Reese, Robert Zamora Lori Dempsey. Also surviving are three sisters, Isabel Romero, Darlene Romero and Trinidad Moore; two brothers, Felix Zamora and Arthur Zamora, 15 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Lorence's life will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2008 at 6:00 p.m., at the Mountainair Church Campground, with Rev. Arthur Chavez officiating. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, September 8, 2008 at 10:00 a.m., at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Torreon, immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial. Inurnment will be held at the Torreon Cemetery and all are invited to a reception at the Torreon Community Center following Burial.
