PADILLA -- Mary (Anaya) Padilla, also known as "Tootsie" went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 30, 2008 at the age of 76. She was born on November 3, 1931. She had many, many close friends and enjoyed bowling and going to the casino with them. Mary is preceded in death by her father, Bonifacio Anaya; stepmother, Jennie Anaya; her natural mother, Tomasita Sandoval; and grandmother, Chon Mendez. She leaves behind her husband, Leo Padilla; sister, Lora Garcia; children, Christina and Greg Nunez, Larry and Yvonne Padilla, Leona and David Luna, Patty and Arnie Mancha, and Steve and Juliana Padilla; step children, Leon Padilla and Rose Blum; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family members.
