KAMINSKI -- John Richard Kaminski, Sr. Born - February 8, 1929 Died - August 25, 2008 John Kaminski, resident of Los Chavez - my husband, our father, our grandfather, our great-grandfather, our uncle, and our friend went to be with our heavenly father on August 25, 2008. He was born on February 8, 1929 in Buffalo, New York. John was survived by his wife of 57 years Lucille Kaminski - their children, John Kaminski Jr., Cindy Bunton, Thomas Kaminski and wife Paulette Kaminski, and Lisa Chavez and fiance, Chuck Keller. He has 12 grandchildren, (Michael, Felisha, Jason, Corina, Amanda, Dwayne, Tommy, Sarah, Danielle, Alyse, Andrew, Aaron {deceased}. He also has four great-grandchildren, Dakota John, Adreanna, Cerissa Faith, and Breanna. John enjoyed a great life with his many family and friends; and he loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and bowling. He served as a Marine from 1948 to 1952 and was in the Korean War. He also was a Fire Fighter, Fire Marshall, Welder, member of The American Legion, VFW, and Elks Lodge. John will be greatly missed by his many friends and family members - but we know he is in a better place and will always be watching over us. We Love You!!! Services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Peralta. Rosary will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday August 27, 2008 and Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday August 28, 2008. Burial will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
