SAPIEN -- Rose Cardenas January 30, 1925 - July 8, 2008 Rose Cardenas Sapien was born in Cimarron, NM on January 30, 1925 to Nicholas and Rosita Cardenas (Trujillo). She was preceded in death by her parents; two children, Irene and Charles; and husband Alex (Charlie) Sapien. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Ray Cardenas, Lupe Sapien, Frank Cardenas, Dee Martinez, Margie Casias, Barbara Cardenas, Mary Ann Archuleta, and Mary Jane Serna. She is survived by her brother Nick Cardenas (Annie) of Cimarron NM. She is survived by children, Consuelo Howe (Chuck) Angel Fire NM, Frank Sapien (Corine) Rio Rancho NM, Charlene Sapien Chula Vista, CA, Natalie Trujillo (Tim) Raton, NM, Tomas Sapien (Ida Marie) of San Diego, CA, Victor Cordova (Josefina) of Seattle WA., and Barbara Cordova of Encinitas CA. Rose is also survived of 16 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be on Monday July 14, 2008 at 7:00 p.m., at St. Patricks/St. Josephs Catholic Church in Raton, NM. Mass of the Resurrection will be on Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. Under the direction of Alderette/Pomeroy Funeral Home, Raton NM.
