MENGHI -- Michael. Staff Sergeant Michael J. Menghi, 26, a member of the US Air Force of Albuquerque, and formerly of Wilmington, NC, passed away on, Sunday, June 29, 2008 near Madrid, NM. He is survived by his mother, Patricia Menghi of Albuquerque; daughter, Isabella A. Menghi, of Albuquerque; sister, Christine Ann Menghi and husband, Gary C. Davis; nieces, Elizabeth Davis and Breanna Davis; very loving aunts and uncles, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Joseph Menghi; and a sister, Annie Menghi. He was born on Friday, June 11, 1982 in Wilmington, NC and graduated from Laney High School, class of 2000. In 2000, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and was stationed in several areas prior to coming to his current duty assignment, Kirtland Air Force Base. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2008 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, University Chapel.
