LOPEZ -- Tommy J. Lopez, beloved husband of 44 years, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2008. He is survived by his wife, Candy R. Wiggins Lopez; one daughter, Corina Lopez; and two sons, (Mr. Mike) Michael Lopez, and Tommy J. Lopez, Jr.; and four grandsons, Diego A. Lopez, Michael A. Lopez, Tommy James Lopez, III, and Andy James (Mr. James) Lopez; and Tommy's beloved dog, Pee Wee. Tommy is also survived by three sisters, Nora Lovato of Albuquerque, NM, Mary L. Garcia of Bernalillo, NM, and Clorinda Martinez of Moriarty, NM; a brother, Amarante Lopez and his wife, Delfina Lopez, of Fresno, CA; a special sister-in-law, Socorro Lopez, of Phoenix, AZ; and special friends, Lisa L. Hughes and her husband, Cal, of Bailey, CO; and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, and special friends that loved him and will miss him. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Julian and Teresita Blea Lopez; and his brothers, Nazario Lopez, Adolfo Lopez, Frank Lopez, and Belarmino Lopez. We know that Tommy is resting in peace. He will be missed. We will all be together again someday. I love you Tommy! We love you Dad! We love you Grandpa! A Rosary for Tommy was recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2008 in the evening at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2008. A Reception will follow at the Sandoval County Sheriffs' Posse, 1043 Rodeo Ln. Bernalillo, NM. The Lopez family would like to thank their relatives and friends who brought food, sent flowers, offered prayers, came to visit, and helped in so many other ways. Your sympathy and thoughtfulness will always be gratefully remembered and deeply appreciated.
