PADILLA -- HERMAN FIDEL---Herman Fidel Padilla, 76, a lifelong resident of Moquino, New Mexico. Mr. Padilla was survived by his beloved wife of fifty-one years, Vina; his children, Herman (Francis) Padilla and wife, Yvonne, Leane Hocker and husband, William, Cecilio (Chip) Padilla and wife, Janice; his sister, Dulce Garcia; seven grandchildren, Arthur Moore, Tanya Munson, Tricia Padilla, Chris Moore, Adrian Padilla, Felisha and Melissa Padilla; eight great-grandchildren, Sabrina Moore, Devin Padilla, Destiny Moore, Andrea Moore, Nicole Moore, Alejandra Moore, Alexia Munson, Christopher Moore (Topes); many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Padilla was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Padilla and his parents, Amado and Gertrudiz Padilla. Mr. Padilla was a member of the Catholic Church, a Veteran of the U.S. Army, Tank Division, serving during the Korean Conflict; he was Hermano Mayor de Los Hermanos de Nuestro Padre Jesus de Nazareno de Moquino . Visitation will be Monday, June 2, 2008 at the Santa Rosalia Catholic Mission in Moquino, NM from 5:00 p.m until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by the Los Hermanos. Final visitation will be Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at the Mission from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m, Father Alberto Avella, presider. Interment will follow at the Moquino Community Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Arthur Moore, Adrian Padilla, Norfleet Garcia, Chris Moore, Arthur Holguin, Matthew Munson and Mark Vallejos. Honorary pallbearers will be Ruben Romero, Joseph DeSoto, Fernando DeSoto, Albino Saavedra, Zach Cheromiah, Martin Kozlowski, Gillie Romero, Charles Orona and Abel Apodaca.
