OMANSON -- Norma Lee Omanson, beloved mother and grandmother, was called home to be with the Lord May 30, 2008. She was born February 26, 1922, in Kansas City, MO. Her husband, Gus, of 48 years preceded her in death. The longtime resident was a homemaker and helpmate with the family business. She is survived by her sons: Gary and wife, Brenda of Phoenix, AZ, Darrell and wife, Gloria of Albuquerque, NM. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Brian and wife, Jennifer of Phoenix, AZ, Jason and wife, Fran of Albuquerque, NM, and Gina and husband, Kevin of Phoenix, AZ. She had three great grandchildren: Kyle, Sari, and Gabriel. She will be greatly missed by her faithful companion pit bull, Smiley. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Vista Care Hospice for their loving care for Norma. Friends may visit Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menaul NE, Albuquerque. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
