HERNANDEZ -- Victor M., 72, made his transition Thursday, May 8, 2008. Mr. Hernandez was a resident of Albuquerque for 45 years. He graduated with distinction from Jefferson High school in El Paso, TX as the graduating class Valedictorian and as class president in 1953. He served with the U. S. Air Force in the Korean Conflict and retired in 2000 from the Postal Service. Mr. Hernandez was a dedicated father and grandfather and is survived by his four children, Julie and husband Bob Rogers, Liz and husband Albert Anaya, Barbara Fishbein, and Victor Hernandez, Jr. and wife Serena; grandchildren Vanessa and Robert Rogers, Larry and Robert Benjey, Melissa and Marc Fishbein, and Lorissa, Victoria, Isabel and Neva Hernandez; and great-granddaughter Alexes Hernandez; siblings Santiago Hernandez, Lucy Puckett and Eloisa Hernandez. Services will be Tuesday, May 13, 2008, 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Visitation will be one hour prior to the Service.
