GARCIA -- Esther B. Garcia passed away Thursday, May 8, 2008. She was born in Littlefield, Texas in a covered wagon train, coming from Ft. Sumner, New Mexico to parts of Texas. Her family returned to Ft. Sumner and raised her there. She is survived her daughter, Lorella "Gloria" Lopez and husband, Andy; grandchildren, Andy Lopez, Laura Schroeder, Gloria Calderwood and Jeremiah Lopez; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. A Rosary will be recited for Mrs. Garcia tonight, Monday, May 12, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the Salazar & Sons Mortuary. A Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. at the Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
