YATES -- James L. Yates, 56, a loving husband, father, son and friend passed away suddenly on April 27, 2008, in Ada, Oklahoma. A long-time resident of Edgewood, Jim was born in Roswell, NM 9/27/51 and most recently worked for the Chickasaw Nation in Oklahoma. A private Memorial Service was held in Ada, OK on April 30, 2008. He was preceded in death by his sister, Shirlie Groves. He is survived by his wife, Linda Yates, son Kasey Yates, step-children Adam Fulton, Michael Pierce, Elizabeth Pierce, sister Sue Lynn, and husband Rick Jordan, two nieces, Rachel Wilson, Natalie Rademacher, nephew Isaac Groves, and parents Charles H. and E. Jean Yates.
