SIMPSON -- Danny Lee Simpson was born October 14, 1947 in Durango, Colorado. He passed away Thursday, May 1, 2008 at the age of 60. Danny Honorably served his country in the Air National Guard during Viet Nam. He enjoyed growing his own vegetables and working with computers. Danny was preceded in death by his father, Alton Leroy Simpson. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy M. Simpson; sons, Craig L. and Kevin L. Simpson; mother, Yvonne D. Rivera; step-father, Eddy B. Rivera; sister, Kathy Cole; brothers, Glenn Simpson, Steve and Robert Rivera; step-mother, Loretta Simpson; grandchildren, Ryan S., Ross, Bryce and Gage Simpson, and Kenzie Simpson ; numerous cousins, nephews, nieces other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. A family memorial was held at his home for family and friends. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to any program that supports and encourages blood, plasma, and bone marrow donations and support for local Lymphoma Societies.
