BURNS -- Scott R. "Scotty" Burns age, 43, died Monday, April 28, 2008 at Vanderbilt Medical Ctr. in Nashville. Graveside Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 3, 2008, at St. Michaels Episcopal Cemetery in Faunsdale, AL with Rev. George McKee officiating and Kidd-Robbins Funeral Directors of Demopolis directing Services. Survivors include his loving wife of five years, Meredith Sherling Burns, of Nashville, TN; his father, Don Burns, of Albuquerque, N.M.; his mother, Susan Long Burns, of Farmington, N.M; one sister, Cindy Matlock, of Farmington, N.M; one niece, Sarah Matlock; and one nephew, Chris Matlock. Scotty was born in Albuquerque, N.M. and has resided in Nashville for five years where he played the fiddle with many Nashville Country Stars. He was a member of Wentworth Baptist Church in Nashville.
