BRYSON -- Robert Martin Bryson, 92, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, April 28, 2008. He was born in Xenia, Ohio, and moved to Albuquerque in 1944. Bob, as he was known to all, traveled the southwest as a manufacturer's representative. He enjoyed singing in his church choir and teaching Sunday school. He was also a longtime member of The Gideons International. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Florence Bryson; his wife of 64 years, Ruth Bryson; son, Martin Bryson; brother, H. Edwin Bryson, and sister, Helen Brantley. Bob is survived by his daughters, Carole Mericle and husband Daniel, and Rita Austin and husband Weldon; grandchildren, Daniel Mericle Jr., James Mericle, Michael Austin, Melissa Haro and Matthew Austin; sisters, Mary Anne Neff and Betty Martel; other family and friends who loved and will miss him. Private Services have already been held. Interment was at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gideons International : Albuquerque Central Camp, PO Box 80035, Albuquerque, NM. 87108.
