VILLELLA -- Ralph John Villella Jr. Retired Master Sergeant Ralph John Villella Jr. Age 51 October 12, 1956 - April 10, 2008 A long time resident of Los Lunas, New Mexico passed away at his home in Raeford, North Carolina on April 10, 2008, after a long battle with cancer. Services will be held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on April 25, 2008, at 3:00 p.m. He is survived by his wife, Monica C. Villella, of Raeford, North Carolina; four children, Misty Taylor and husband, Eric, of Dexter, New Mexico, Michael Villella and fiance, Laura F. Boucher, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Miranda Santillan and husband, Juan, of Roswell, New Mexico, Monica L. Villella and fiance, Jonathon, of Belen, New Mexico; two step-children, Antionette Richard and her husband, Rob, of Loves Park, IL, and Jeremy Russell of New Mexico; seven grandchildren, Nicolas Taylor, Eric D. Taylor, Juan D. Santillan, Felica M. Villella, Sophia M. Santillan, Rafael A. Santillan, Marissa Richard, and one more granddaughter on the way, Baby Girl Villella. He is also survived by his parents, Ralph Villella, Sr., and Lottie of Los Lunas, New Mexico; brothers, Steven Villella of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Anthony Villella of Los Lunas, New Mexico, and Joseph Villella of Great Bend, PA; one sister, Angela Rodriguez and her husband, Steve, of Belen, New Mexico. He will also be missed by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends. Ralph Jr. graduated from Los Lunas High School in 1974 and joined the military shortly after graduation. He served in the United States Air Force for 24 years and was honorably discharged. In service to his country, he was able to travel all over the United States and over seas.
