HOWARD -- Ruea Jane Howard, age 90, formerly of Wichita, KS and Colorado Springs, CO, went to Heaven to be with her Lord, Tuesday, April 15, 2008. She moved to Albuquerque in 1997 to be with her daughter. Ruea was the third daughter of Ernest and Mildred Wikoff. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and three brothers. During WWII, she worked for Boeing Aircraft in Wichita, KS, to help with the war effort. She spent much of her life in Wichita. She was a "nineties" lady, in the "forties and fifties", choosing to be single mother, raising her three children on a bookkeeper's income. Ruea is survived by her daughter, Pat Rose and husband, John; sons, Ken Howard and John Howard and wife, Stephanie; grandchildren, Chuck, Nick, Katrina, Debra, and Misty; brother, Richard Wikoff; six great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; and special nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 19, 2008, at 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary Westside Chapel.
