WATTERS -- Vikki Watters, age 60, of Rio Rancho, passed peacefully, Friday, February 22, 2008 with her family at her side. Vikki leaves behind Earl, her loving husband of 42 years, two devoted sons, Earl Jr. and his wife Tracy, Adam and his wife Lucrecia; two adoring grandchildren, Collin Thomas and Taylor Lynn; brothers, Mike and Chuck Marovich; sister, Terri Walters and husband Greg; numerous nieces and nephews. She was a great patriot, serving the needs of Viet Nam and Iraq veterans and their families. Vikki loved dogs and devoted much of her time and effort to training "Therapy Dogs" to help soothe the pain and suffering of many hospitalized people. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 26, at 2:00 PM at French Mortuary Westside Chapel with Enrique Padilla officiating with bagpipe honors by Bill Horne and spiritual blessing by Ernie Dogwolf.
