SERRANO -- RAMON Mr. Ramon R. Serrano, 77, a resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully at home on February 21, 2008, with his loving family by his side and is now in Heaven with Our Lord. Mr. Serrano is the beloved husband to Mrs. Lydia Serrano, married for 54 years. Mr. Serrano is also survived by his loving children, Nelson Serrano; Benita Flores and husband, Richard; Lolita Colson and husband, Anthony; Tony Serrano and wife, Sandra; Orlando Serrano and wife, Vicky; Chris Serrano and Karen Serrano-Baca; his brother, Abran Serrano and wife, Georgia; fourteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Serrano was a member of the Catholic Church, a Veteran of the United States Army Serving in the Korean Conflict, a member of V.F.W. Post #6216 and Post 13. Visitation for Mr. Serrano will be Monday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00p.m. Final visitation will be Tuesday morning from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. A Committal Service will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. Pallbearers will be Richard Flores, Angelo Serrano, Carlos Colson, Johnny Baca, Abelino Serrano and Rick Serrano.
