DAVIDSON -- Opal Mae Davidson, 90, a resident of Albuquerque since 1950, died February 9, 2008. She is survived by her children, Carl Davidson and Diana Davidson; grandchildren, Scott Davidson and wife, Teri, Christine Yates and husband, Doug, Jason Willins, Curt Davidson, Crystal Holmes and husband, Ron, Chad Davidson and wife, Kellie; 10 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Lester, Art and Lessie; and many other family members and dear friends. Mrs. Davidson was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Carl Boyd Davidson, Sr. and several other family members. Opal was the creator and owner of Opal's Silver and Turquoise Jewelry for 35 years. Mrs. Davidson was a renaissance woman, able to change with the times. She was a great seamstress and a wonderful cook. Services will be Saturday, February 16, 2008, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. NE, Friday, February 15, 2008, 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. or Saturday, February 16, 2008, 9:00 a.m. until service.
