BAZAN -- Joseph Lee Bazan, 65, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at the VA Medical Center, East Orange, NJ. Born in Washington, DC, he resided in Middlesex. NJ. Mr. Bazan proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War with the First Calvary Division in 1965. He later was a Medical Librarian at the VA Hospital at Lyons for 15 years where he was most proud of helping patients in the Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Unit. He was one of the founding members of Rolling Thunder MC. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Bazan of Carlisle, PA, a son, Christopher Bazan and wife Jaqui of Woodbury, NJ, two daughters, Anita Bazan of Carlisle, PA and Christina Stewart and husband Bret of Colorado Springs, CO, six grandchildren, three brothers, Reverend Monsignor Joaquin Bazan of Washington, DC, John Bazan and wife Margaret of Miami, FL, James Bazan and wife Laura of Charlotte, NC and two sisters, Anita Harris and husband William of Colorado Springs, CO and Sylvia Bazan of Albuquerque A Rosary will be held on Friday, January 25, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. and a Funeral Mass on Saturday, January 26 both at Risen Saviour Catholic Church.
