EDWARDS -- Donald Edwards Jr., 40, a resident of Albuquerque New Mexico passed away on January 11, 2008 and is now in Heaven with our Lord. Donald is the beloved son to Lillie Cordova and beloved father to Monica Edwards, Donald Edwards III, and Amanda Edwards. Donald is also survived his three sisters, Perla Shearfer and husband, Frank, Mary Ann Greenslete and husband, Mark, Elizabeth Montoya and husband, Ramon; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Donald was preceded in death by his father, Donald Edwards Sr., brothers, Ralph Edwards and Anthony Edwards. Donald was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation for Donald will be Wednesday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Church of the Ascension, 2150 Raymac SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Ascension with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Pajarito Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Donald Edwards III, Andres Rivera, Pat Burner,Chava Lopez, Robert Anzures, and Clifford Figler. Honorary pallbearers will be Sam Montoya and Frank Benavidez.
