TILLMAN -- ANNA GWYN TILLMAN June 6, 1931 - January 4, 2008 A Memorial for Anna Tillman will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 7, 2008 at First Baptist Church of Grants, New Mexico. Anna is survived by her children, Jack Elkins II, Dick Elkins, Bonnie Chavda, daughter-in-law, Rhonda Elkins, and nine wonderful grandchildren. These rejoice in all that Anna was and is as a faithful wife, joyful mother, loving grandmother and mighty woman of God. She wrote concerning her own passing: "The Lord God, and His Son Jesus Christ my Savior know my whereabouts. My trust is the knowledge that a home is prepared for me in heaven. Believe this, depend on this, and at my death the service is to be a memorial, joyful, happy in the knowledge of my home going." We celebrate Anna's life and faith. "Strength and honor are her clothing. She shall rejoice in time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom and on her tongue is the law of kindness. Many daughters have done nobly but you excel them all." Proverbs 31. In lieu of flowers it is Anna's wish that donations be made to the ANNA GWYN MEMORIAL FUND of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or to the mission outreaches of First Baptist Church and Central Baptist Church of Grants, N.M.
