WILSON -- Herbert Eugene Wilson, age 51, of Albuquerque, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, December 18, 2007. He attended high school at Franklin High School in Riverside, CA, and moved to Las Cruces where he resided 23 years before moving to Albuquerque. His hobbies included working on all types of cars, fishing, hunting, cooking and gardening. Herb was a friend to anyone he met. He was known by his family as the "Gentle Giant", a big man, with an even bigger heart. Herb is survived by his wife Frances Amezquita Wilson; brothers, Marshall Jauregui and wife, Lois, Ruben Jauregui and wife, Cindy, Albert Wilson and wife, Becky; step-children, Liz Arnold and husband, Brian, and Bill Bailey and fiance, Tara Brockman; grandchildren, Joel and wife, Trisha, Christopher, Michael, Jr., Tyler, Michael Ray, Adrianna, Sydney, Peyton; great-granddaughter, Jenna Marie. A funeral service will be held Sunday, December 23, at 6:00 p.m., at Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church, 5331 Montano NW.
