GONZALES -- Alice J. Gonzales, 75, went to meet the Lord on December 6, 2007. She was born in Ranchos de Taos, NM. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, William; her six children, Linda Trevithick, Frances Candelaria, Billy Gonzales, Robert Gonzales and wife, Susan, Shirley Trujeque and husband Pat, and Juanita Barela and husband Charles; her six grandchildren, Angela Padilla, Jacob Shroyer, Beth Trevithick, Bobby Gonzales, Ben Gonzales, Frank Gonzales; four great-grandchildren Alyssa Hamilton, Cisco Trevithick, Casandra Trevithick and Roman Salaz. She suffered for the past thirteen years with kidney disease, but she had amazing courage and a very strong faith in the Lord. Alice was a beloved wife and mother who touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all. A Rosary will be held on Sunday, December 9, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd., NE. A Mass will be held on Monday, December 10, 2007 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, Lomas & Tennessee, NE; thereafter she will be laid to rest at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
