HUDSON -- Mary Belcheff Comba-Hudson, 90, died Monday, November 05, 2007. She was born on her family's homestead in Sofia, NM on September 7, 1917. She is survived by her children, Charlene Comba of Albuquerque, Cathy Mason and husband, Bud of Dallas, TX, Carl Comba of Scott City, KS; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Eva Atchley of Albuquerque, Donca Dixon of Santa Fe, Polly Hart and husband, Carl of Dallas, TX; brothers, Steve Belcheff and wife, Alba of Raton, and George Belcheff of Amarillo, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, George and Vasilca Belcheff; and her husband, Sevreno Comba; and second husband, Victor Hudson. The family was able to have a joyous celebration of her 90th birthday attended by all of her siblings, children, grandson, Mark Mason, and a large contingent of nieces, nephews, and several friends. An active member of the Clayton, NM community, she served as secretary of the Clayton High School Reunion Association for 20 years. It was a perfect job for Mary. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, November 7, 2007, 6:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, with visitation 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, November 8, 2007, 8:30 a.m., at Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church, 2621 Vermont NE. Interment will follow at the Clayton Cemetery, Clayton, NM.
