MARSH -- Erwin Marsh, 86, of Albuquerque passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2007. He was born in Durango, CO and raised in Pueblo, CO. Erwin served in the US Army in WWII and participated in the Normandy invasion. He married Carol Barnett in 1946. They moved to Albuquerque with their two young children in 1952. He is survived by Carol Marsh, his loving wife of 61 years; son, Lawrence Marsh and wife, Patricia of Pittsburgh, PA; daughter, Janis Marsh Gasparich and husband, John of Santa Fe; brother, Leon Marsh and wife, Wilma of Pueblo, CO; granddaughter, Wendy Marsh Dendy and husband, Mike; and great-grandchildren, Callie and Carson of Chattanooga, TN. Survivors also include niece, Charline Hunt; nephews, Ken Marsh and wife, Robin, Patrick Marsh and wife, Fran, Jon Marsh and wife, Linda, as well as special friends Noe and Jenny Ramirez. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Norma Marsh. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 8600 Academy Blvd. NE. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church Good Samaritan Fund, 8600 Academy NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111 or to the charity of your choice.
