LANGLEY -- James H. Langley was born September 7, 1913 and passed away on October 12th 2007. He was a long time resident of Albuquerque. James was preceded in death by his parents, Florence and Lawrence Langley; one brother; three sisters; his first wife, Bonnell in 1997; his daughter, Janelle Dorney in 2002; his grandson, Jimmie in 1987, and a great granddaughter. James is survived by his wife, Sarah Ann; son, Monroe and wife, Rosemary; son-in-law, John Dorney; three stepchildren, Robert, Richard and Veronica; two granddaughters, Marla Gregory and husband, of Arvado, CO., Tammy Burke and husband, of Leawood, Kansas; three grandsons, Michael and wife, Timora of Mesquite Texas, Robert and Sherry of Kemp, Texas, Raymond and wife, Doris of Albuquerque, NM; five step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; fifteen great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Virginia Potter and Wanda Ogdon; sister-in-law, Norene Lucas and two other sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; many nieces, nephews, many great nieces and nephews; other family members and friends who loved will miss him. James was in the CCC Camp from 1936 to 1940, where he met his first wife, Bonnell at a dance. He joined the CCC Chapter 141 in January of 1999 and was raised to Master Mason in January 29, 1946. James belongs to Sandia Mountain Lodge 72 and was an Honored Past Master in 2006. James joined the Shrine October 23, 2004 and he also was a member of the Scottish Rite in Santa Fe, NM. James sold Insurance for America National Insurance Company for 34 years. After he retired James enjoyed working with wood. Visitation and Funeral Services will be held at the Valley Christian Church, 2850 Gun Club Road SW., on Wednesday, October 17, 2007. The Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the Funeral Service at 12:00 noon. Pastor David Morgan will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery on Edith and Menaul NE. Pallbearers will be Ed Baca, Jerry Scoggins, Ron Page, Bruce Cass, Tom Laguardia and Kennan Winters. Honorary Pallbearers will be George Hunsaker, Michael Langley, Raymond Langley and Robert Langley. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made your favorite Charity or to Valley Christian Church Building fund. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. NW.
