DARBY -- Lucile G. Darby, age 88, born August 25, 1919, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2007 in Albuquerque, NM. She lived in Florence, AL for most of her life, and moved to New Mexico in 2001 to be near her son. A Memorial Service will be held in October at the First United Methodist Church, Florence, where she was a longtime member. She is survived by her son, Dr. John Littrell Darby and his wife, Susan Heather Darby of Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Allen Littrell Jr. in 1952, and her second husband, Albert Wright Darby, Jr. in 2000. She is lovingly remembered by her family and friends and will be missed.
