JARRETT -- Roy D. Jarrett, 76, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at a local hospital. He was born on June 6, 1931 in Allen, OK to Roy Denver and Desmer Jarrett. Mr. Jarrett was preceded in death by his wife, Dellie E. Jarrett on October 31, 2003 after 53 years of marriage. He was a retired Major with the United States Army. Following his retirement, Mr. Jarrett joined the United States Civil Service. He is survived by his daughter, Valerie K. Gabriele and husband, James of Albuquerque; son, Phillip D. Jarrett and wife, Pamela of Garden Grove, CA; grandsons, Christopher and Jonathan Gabriele, and Steven and Brian Grant.; sister, Carolyn Beggs and husband, Robert of Chapman, KA; aunt, Nancy Phillips of Ada, OK; aunt, Thelma Brewer of Vallejo, CA; and numerous cousins. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal services at this time.
