BREITLING -- Wanda L. Breitling, 72, passed away on July 4, 2007 in Albuquerque. Mrs. Breitling was born in 1934 in Detroit, MI. She worked as an administrator for the Albuquerque Public School System for over 28 years. She was the Treasurer of the New Mexico Association of Educational Retirees for the past 17 years and a member of Eastern Hill Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Gwendola Shanley; her husband, Bill Breitling; four sisters; and one brother. She is survived by her children, Beverly Breitling-Leathem, Cheryl Vandergriff and husband, Jesse, and Debbie Garrison; siblings, Lillian McDaniels (NO s) and husband, Paul, Andrew Shanley and wife, Kathy; brother-in-law, Bob Hooten and wife, Carolyn; grandchildren, Jeremy Breitling, Christopher, Joshua, and Jaimie Vandergriff, Cole Garrison, Brittany Leathem, and Cati Garrison; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 8, 2007 at the Palm Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services, 1100 Coal SE, Albuquerque. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 9, 2007 at the Eastern Hill Baptist Church, 3100 Morris NE, with Pastor Larry Miller officiating. Pallbearers will be Bobby Hooten, Jr, Bobby Hooten, III, David Raymond, Brian Shanley, Franklin Shanley, and Justin Shanley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
