NEFF -- Margaret Clare Neff, age 86, born July 18, 1920, passed away peacefully at her home on June 16, 2007 surrounded by her family. Margaret was born in Augusta, KS on July 18, 1920. She and her family moved to Albuquerque in 1956. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Fr. Jerome Colgan and Fr. Tom Colgan; and sister, Rita Stolz. She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Stephen Neff; her sister, Sr. Eleanor Colgan SNDDN; her children, John Neff, Kathleen Neff, Margaret Mortis and husband, Harold, Thomas Neff and wife, Rosemary, Stephen (Greg) Neff and wife, Patricia, Mary Snow and husband, Gerald, Julie Gregory and husband, Danny, Teresa Bottomly and husband, Eric, Patricia Wallentine and husband, Michael, and Barbara Ducaj and husband, Mark. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Rebecca (Mortis) Massey, Rachel (Mortis) McManis, Matthew Mortis, Steffanie Mortis, Monica Neff, Lisa Neff, Danielle Neff, Paula (Neff) Jernigan, Patricia (Neff) Sena, Kimberly Neff, Stephen Neff, David Snow, Veronica Snow, Joshua Snow, Sharon Snow, William Gregory, Jessica Bottomly, Christopher Bottomly, Thomas Bottomly, Aaron Wallentine, Patraick Wallentine, Sarah Wallentine, and Michelle Wallentine; and her great-grandchildren, Emily McManis, Shunyata Lysenko, Seth and Ian Jernigan. Jacob and Miguel Sena, Cheyenne Bottomly, and Donovan Wallentine. Margaret was a registered dietician, obtaining her degree from Marymount College in Salina, KS, and completing her internship at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. A devoted wife, mother, and homemaker, Margaret was also a member of the Annunciation Women's Guild and Alter Society. She volunteered for New Mexico Right to Life, Casa Angelica, and Annunciation School. The family would like to thank Diana Garcia for her tender care of Margaret over the past several years and the Odyssey Hospice team, especially Maureen, Diana, and Megan. A Rosary for Margaret will take place on Monday, June 18, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services at 3113 Carlisle NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. A Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Annunciation at 2610 Utah St. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110, followed by Burial Services at Gate of Heaven Cemetery located at 7500 Paseo Del Norte, NE, Albuquerque, NM 87113. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Margaret's memory to New Mexico Right to Life or Society of Our Lady of The Most Holy Trinity.
