ALDERETE -- Andrew J. Alderete, 77, passed away at home Sunday, May 27, 2007, with his family at his side. Mr. Alderete is survived by his wife of 29 years, Graciela; children, Andrew Michael Alderete, Robert Mark Alderete, Mary Ann Hillary, Dorothy Denson and Carmen Alderete; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Alderete-Felt and Clorinda Garcia; and many other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marcelino and Soledad. Mr. Alderete served his country in the US Navy retiring after 30 years and was very active in numerous veterans organizations, the Optimist Club, and several other organizations. He was also a Certified Public Accountant with his own business. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, May 30, 2007, 7:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd. NE. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, May 31, 2007, 11:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Fatima, with burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
