OLDFIELD -- Ida Mae Oldfield, born May 23, 1930 in Estancia and a lifelong resident of New Mexico, went home to be with The Lord Thursday, May 17, 2007. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Leland; son, Ron Oldfield of Los Lunas; two grandchildren, Rhonda Kimbell and husband, Ross and Ryan Oldfield; three great-grandchildren, Bailey, Kellen and Roan; sisters, Frances Wilcox and Cloey Riley; brothers, Alvin T. Plant and William Plant and wife, Phyllis; and several nieces, nephews, and family members. Mrs. Oldfield was an active member of Alameda Baptist where she taught children's Sunday school and sang in the choir. Services will be held Monday, May 21, 2007, 1:30 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
