LUCERO -- Genevieve "Gen" Lucero passed away on April 15, 2007. Genevieve was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lena Cobley. She is survived by her husband, Rudy Lucero; children, Rudolph Lucero and wife, Kathryn, Myra Simons and husband, Andy, Michelle Werden and husband, Clint; and Dennis Lucero; seven grandchildren, Kevin Simons and wife, Megan, Melissa "Mia" Simons, Elizabeth and Michael Lucero, Mitchell, Reese, and Senti Werden; and siblings, Diane Rodruck, Christina Rios, Angie Behmer, Geraldine Cobley, Ernie Cobley, and Fred Cobley. She loved reading, golf, bridge, and traveling, but her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. The family would like to thank their family, friends, and the wonderful staff at Presbyterian CCC Unit for their love and support. A Rosary and Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 23, 2007 at Prince of Peace Catholic Community, 12500 Carmel Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM 87122.
