GIDEON -- James William Gideon, 78, passed away on March 16, 2007 after a long illness. He is survived by his wife Toni; son Roy E. Gideon II; daughter Elaine; brother Billy R Gideon; and wife Elsie. He has five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Jim was born in Tulsa, OK, and his family moved to Albuquerque, in 1943. He served in the Army during the German Occupation. He worked for J. Korber Co prior to, and just after returning from the armed forces. In 1956, he worked for Rogers Electric which became Lomas Electric. In 1984, he opened his own electrical contracting company, Gideon Electric, until 1995 when he retired. Cremation has taken place. There will be a reception on March 24, 2007, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., at the family home. Call 830-4379 or 453-2831 for further information.
