SHAW -- Angela Rose Marie Shaw, 73, an Albuquerque resident, died on March 18, 2007. She was born to Italian immigrant parents on December 5, 1933 in Albuquerque, NM. Rosemary was raised and lived most of her life in Albuquerque. She met her husband, Harold, at a local skating rink. She married and then spent the next 17 years, in her role as Army wife, moving her growing family all over the world. They eventually moved back in Albuquerque where they spent the rest of their days. She is survived by her children; son, Butch Shaw and wife, Peggy; daughter, Jeanne Shaw; son, Mike Shaw and wife, Janice; and son, Donnie Shaw and Beth Clark. She also leaves behind her beloved cat, Lucy. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, Bruno and Angela Cortese; her husband of 50 years, Harold; grandson, Adam Cardenas; and siblings, Anthony Cortese, Elizabeth Deluca, Frank Cortese, and Peggy Romero. Services will be held at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, on Thursday March 22, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Rosemary will be laid next to her husband at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 10501 Montgomery Blvd. NE, Suite, 300, Albuquerque, 87111.
