AULT -- Kathryn Steva Ault, a resident of Rio Rancho, passed away on March 1, 2007. She was 95. Kate was born on January 11, 1912 to Fred and Buelah Steva in Maumee, Ohio. She graduated from Maumee High School and briefly attended the University of Toledo. The Depression forced her to abandon her studies and enter the work force. She became a secretary/ bookkeeper at the Toledo Trust Bank, eventually becoming the secretary for one of the bank's vice president, who later became her father-in-law. She married Howard G. "Bud" Ault on December 4, 1935 and left the work force. She and Bud settled in Kirkwood, Missouri where she did volunteer work in the schools and enjoyed playing golf and bridge. After Bud retired in 1977, they moved to Sarasota, Florida where they did volunteer work for Meals on Wheels, the Doctors Hospital Auxiliary and at The Church of the Palms. Following Bud's death on September 27, 1997, she moved to Rio Rancho to be near her daughter. Kate is survived by her daughter, Susan Glenn, her husband, Larry, of Albuquerque; grandsons, Brian Glenn of Overland Park, Kansas; Kevin Glenn and wife Natalie of Sugar Hill, Georgia and great- grandson, Conner Glenn; two sisters-in-law; a niece; two nephews; and their families.
