ALTAMIRANO -- Viola Gloria Altamirano, born May 23, 1937 and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Tuesday morning, March 6, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony C. Altamirano; daughter, Lillian Quintana. She is survived by her sons, Donald and wife, Denise Altamirano, Tony C. Altamirano and wife, Donna, and daughter, Joann "Chach" Altamirano; grandchildren, Merlinda, Dominic, Deanette, Milissa, Robert and Brandon; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings; loved ones; relatives; and friends. Although her time with us was much too short, the love she gave will carry us through a lifetime. Rosary will be recited on Friday, March 9, 2007, 7:30 p.m., at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW. Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 10, 2007, 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Epi Mendoza, Mike Flores, Larry Prieto, Jerome Sanchez, Daniel MacErnie, Joe Lopez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jelani Burks and Ricky Sprunk.
