WOOD -- Bob L. Wood went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, March 6, 2007 after a long illness. Bob was born November 1, 1925 the son of Hobart and Nellie Wood in Cortez, Colorado. Bob had been manager of a grocery store before retiring. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Eddie Wood, Burt Wood; a sister, Pauline Floyd; and step-son, Bobby Burke. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Pat, of the family home; sons, Robert Wood of Lancaster, CA, Mike Wood and wife Gloria of Lancaster, CA, and Mitchell Wood and wife Lorrie of Arkansas, CA, step-son, Bill Burke and wife Sherry of Albuquerque, NM; one sister, Ruth Curtis and husband Ken of Moab, UT; two sister-in-laws, Beverly Wood, and Julie Wood of Monticello, UT; grandchildren; great- grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and loving friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 9, 2007 from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln, Rio Rancho. The Service will be on Saturday, March 10, 2007 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. Interment will follow in Vista Verde Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Robert Wood, Mike Wood, Mitch Wood, Robbie Wood, Bill Burke, and Paul Burke. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bo Bizzell, G.A.
