Survived by his brother, Richard (Ricky) Ortega and wife, Loretta; sisters, Elena Garcia and husband, Mike, Joanne (Joey) Zamora, Lucinda (Cindy) Florez and husband, Felix, Evelyn Dominguez and husband, Richard, Lourdes Martinez and husband, Marty; three daughters, Ernestine Ortega and companion, Joel, Lovette Abeyta, and Eva Abeyta; seven grandchildren, Crystal, J.J., Ernesto, Rita, Amanda, Ernestine, and the Light of his life, Valentino. Pallbearers will be Richard Dominguez, Joe Garcia, Robert Florez, Orlando Florez, Marty Martinez, and Sonny Chavez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ernestine Ortega, Crystal Abeyta, J.J. Ortega, and Ernesto Abeyta. Viewing will be on Friday at RIVERSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 225 San Mateo, at 4:30 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 6:30 p.m. A Mass will be on Saturday at John XXIII Catholic Church, 4831 Tramway Ridge Dr. NE, at 11:00 a.m.
