MCLELLAND -- John Christopher (Chris), 50, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, February 12, 2007. Chris was born July 29, 1956 to Stoner Key McLelland Jr. and Betty J. McLelland in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife, Staci McLelland; mother, Betty McLelland; step-father, Vernroy Ahnin; brother, Mike McLelland; nephews, Jeremiah, Shawn; niece, Meghan McLelland; 2 step-sons, Justin and Ryan Richardson. He was preceded in death by his father, Key and brother, Stephen. Chris enjoyed drag racing, boating, bowling and golf. He loved to joke around, he was very outgoing and never met a stranger. He never went anywhere he did not make a friend. He was a graduate of Del Norte High School in 1974 and had been the bartender at the Solo Club before moving to Texas. He returned to Albuquerque in 2003. As per the family's request no services will be held.
