PACHECO -- Augustine J. Pacheco, 94, a resident of Alameda, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 15, 2007 with his loving family at his side. He was dearly loved and will be forever missed. Augustine was born in Martineztown on February 28, 1912 and was a WWII Veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lydia; sons, Frank, Manuel, Tony, and Robert; and son-in-law, Michael A. Gutierrez. He is survived by his one and only daughter, Sandra B. Gutierrez; sons, Larry Pacheco and wife, Liz and Victor Pacheco and wife, Shelley of Olympia, WA; daughters-in-law, Lily Pacheco and Emily Olivares; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson; a brother, Ignacio Pacheco and wife, Laura; and a sister, Eloisa Montoya. Visitation for Augustine will be on Monday, February 19, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. followed by the Funeral Service from 10 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at the Alameda Mortuary with Deacon Joe Santana officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park where he will be laid to rest alongside his wife and sons who preceded him in death. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Larry A. Pacheco, Michael A. Gutierrez Jr., and Anthony Pacheco and his great-grandsons, Valentin Trujillo II, Andres Trujillo, and Jordan Hughes. Honorary Pallbearers will be his granddaughters, Yvette Trujillo, Augusta Mora, Cynthia Pacheco, Lydia Gutierrez, Amber Pacheco, Jessica Pacheco, Whitney Pacheco, and Danielle Pacheco.
