JOHNSON -- Trudie Lee Johnson, 56, a resident of Rio Rancho since 1979, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2007. Trudie was born August 4, 1950 the daughter of Robert and Mary Katherine Swan Hocking in Canton, Ohio, but was raised in Louisville, Ohio. Trudie was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan; worked at steel mills in Pittsburgh; after moving to New Mexico, she worked at the Bernalillo County Jail and Diamond Shamrock. She loved her family, her horse Muffin, and her dogs, Lulu and Zilah. Trudie is survived by her mother, Mary Katherine Swan of Corrales, NM; daughter, Tanika Dawn White of Rio Rancho, NM; son, Vernon Maurice Ford, Jr. of Rio Rancho, NM; granddaughter, Raven Cheyenne White of Rio Rancho, NM; two sisters, Margot Jean Steadman and husband Bill of Corrales, NM and Cindy Toney and family of Frederick, MD; and nephew, Will Steadman and family of Corrales, NM.
