LUNA -- Mary Jane Sanchez Mrs. Mary Jane Sanchez Luna, 74, a lifelong resident of Belen, New Mexico passed away on January 12, 2007 peacefully at home with her loving family by her side and is now in Heaven with our Lord. Mrs. Luna was seriously ill on and off for the last 15 years. Mrs. Luna is the beloved wife to Mr. Procopio Luna, married for 54 years. Mrs. Luna is also survived by her loving sons, Leo Luna and companion, Debbie; Arnold Luna and companion, Berna; Martin Luna; Dennis Luna and wife, Karen; one sister, Kandy Cordova and husband, Ismael; brother, Alex Sanchez and wife; Daisy of Belen; a brother, Luciano Sanchez and wife Pauline of Barstow; sisters in law, Adela Padilla and husband Tony, Mary Baca and Lucy Padilla; 10 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luciano and Maria P. Sanchez; brothers, Leo Carlos and Tony Sanchez; sisters, Rosie Baca and husband, David; and Sally Datallo. Mrs. Luna was a member of the Catholic Church and was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grand and great grandmother, sister and friend. Her priority in life was her family. She was greatly loved and will be missed by all. A visitation will be Tuesday morning at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church from 8:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 8:30 a.m. by Kandy Cordova. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. by Father Stephen Schultz. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Christopher Cordova, Anthony Sanchez, Leo Sanchez, Joe Padilla, Lucas Luna and Patrick Castillo. Honorary pallbearer will be Robert Padilla.
