ALVEY -- Ada Marie Nabors Alvey, 88, a resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, December 1, 2006. She is survived by her daughter Sandy Sporn and husband, Richard of Evanston, WY; two grandchildren, Jeremiah and Sasha; two great-grandchildren, Kodi Marie and Ryley Bo James; sister, Frances Reed and husband, Red of Albuquerque; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, W.G. and Josephine Nabors and her brother, Bill Nabors. Marie was a member of Immanuel Presbyterian Church and retired as a secretary from UNM. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to the Salvation Army, 4301 Bryn Mawr Dr. NE, Albuquerque, 87107 or the charity of your choice.
