CHAVEZ -- Lorraine D. Chavez, 58, beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, November 26, 2006. She was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, and was a member of the Catholic Church. Lorraine is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Lorenzo Chavez; one son, Martin J. Chavez and fiancee, Marie Miller; her precious granddaughter, Kayla Chavez; one sister, Emily Caraveo and husband, Enrique; brothers-in-law and sisters in-law, Theresa and Salomon Garcia, Dolores Calhoun, Pablo and Susie Chavez, John and Louisa Chavez; nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends. Lorraine will be greatly missed by her loving family. Visitations will be Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services Alameda Mortuary, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Therese Church. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Adrian Garcia, Larry Garcia, Jalene Garcia, Gregory Montoya, VT Chavez, and Toby Montano.
