BROWN -- Scott Joseph Brown, died Saturday, November 18, 2006 wrapped in the loving arms of his wife, Teri, daughter, Shelby, and son, Jeremy while surrounded by family and friends. Scott practiced the humility of grace throughout his life and found joy in his faith, his family his friends and nature. As a young man, he was an avid Boy Scout earning the rank of Eagle Scout. He participated actively in Young Life during high school leading to lifelong enduring friendships and to an active membership in Grace Church. Scott worked for the Game and Fish Department for 30 years, taking great pleasure in community service and in capturing nature's wonders on film. Scott taught us how to love unconditionally as a husband, father and a friend. Born in Santa Fe, September 17, 1951, Scott grew up in Albuquerque. He was predeceased by his father, Robert A. Brown and a brother, Gregory. He is survived by his mother, Sally Brown; and his sisters, Nikki McDonald, Kathi Polage, Susan Haywood, and Mary Beth McGonagle. Scott graduated from Highland High in 1969, earned a degree in Wildlife Biology from Colorado State University and a Masters at UNM. A celebration of Scott's life will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2006, at 10:00 a.m., at Grace Church, 6901 San Antonio Dr. NE.
