BROWNE -- Richardson E. "Bounce" Browne, October 8, 2006. Bounce-Boppa-Gaga left us during Sunday's Packer game, thankfully before the fumble. A 30-year resident of Albuquerque, formerly of Milwaukee, WI, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jean Jones Browne and his grandson, Timothy Richardson Carroll. He is survived by sons, Richardson E. Browne III and wife, Barbara of Phoenix, AZ and Doug Browne and wife, Leslie of Marco Island, FL; daughters, Sarah Wansbrough Browne of Carmel, CA and Stephanie Browne of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Mallori Christine Browne, Katherine Redmond Carroll, Matthew Browne, Trey Richardson Browne; brother, William Browne and wife, Ginger of Milwaukee, WI; former son-in-law, Bob Carroll; and many cherished nieces, nephews, dear friends, and treasured doggies, especially Charlie, Marge, and Bradley. Bounce spent a lifetime loving tennis and excelling at it, beginning with state championships in his teens and continuing with key roles in the USLTA Clay Court Championships, the Davis Cup, and as coach for champs Doug Browne and Matt Browne. He was proud to have served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a graduate of Cornell University where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. Gaga was an honored and involved member of the YMCA and never missed a 'Fade to Reality' premiere. He also loved the Republican Party and never missed an opportunity to 'dialogue' with his kids about politics. As a passionate Packers fan, Bounce proudly wore his green and gold every Sunday. He was enormously proud of his family's accomplishments and hugely enjoyed visiting Richardson's restaurants in Phoenix and watching granddaughter Kate sing at the Monterey Jazz Festival Camp concerts. A Celebration of Bounce's life will take place later this month. If desired, contributions for the Mountainside YMCA Capital Campaign, 12500 Comanche NE, Albuquerque, NM, 87111, Stephanie Browne, Executive Director. French Mortuary 10500 Lomas Blvd. 275-3500
