MOYA -- George D. Moya, 79, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday afternoon. George was born in Newkirk, NM and was a veteran of WWII. George also worked for many years in Albuquerque, NM as an auto-body and fender man. George was a loving husband, father grandfather and great-grandfather. George is survived by his wife, Mary B. Moya; daughters, Victoria Maldonado and husband, Ernest, Georgia Moya; sons, Danny Moya, Rick Moya, and David Moya; grandchildren, Stephen Maldonado and wife, Valerie, Ben Maldonado and wife, Andrea, Patrick Moya and wife, Joanna, Spencer Moya, and Alex Moya; great-grandchildren Jonathan, Mariah, Victoria, and Ashley. George was cremated on Tuesday. Memorial Services will be held on at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 13, 2006 at Garcia's Mortuary located at 717 Stover Ave. SW.
